Charlene Strong in Attendance. Charlene Strong lost her partner, Kate, in a horrible flood and was faced with obstacle upon obstacle in trying to come to her side at the hospital. In the end, Kate died alone. Now, Charlene speaks up against this horrible injustice and uses her voice to push for change through legislation in Washington State. This is a truly inspirational, moving story of love and the making of an activist. - Cody Melcher
